,When CEO of KR1STNA Media, Kristina Hernandez, was about eight years old, she started getting involved in paid reviews for scents, flavors & other products for a global company called Firmenich, where her hard working, single mother, Sharon K. Eddy, served as a Regulatory Scientist. Firmenich had an amazing take your child to work day other marketing programs that were offered to the family and friends of workers. Kristina quickly became a go-to contender for the programs.
Kristina was always been a fan of throwing a good event with great entertainment. Growing up, Kristina did a lot of family and friend special events. She was also big on travel, having been on a plane many times at such young ages and traveling back and forth to Puerto Rico to visit family. Kristina developed a second language, Spanish, which helped in her career goals along the way.
From 2012-2014, Kristina was the go-to person for developing digital media and print media buying opportunities at travAlliancemedia. Big names over at the major travel suppliers would reach out to her directly for advice on how they should spend their hundreds of thousands of dollars each year. That role got Kristina active in media, in particular, but she had always been passionate about marketing in general.
When Kristina left travAlliancemedia for a more technology-focused opportunity in 2014, she had been warning her team that they needed to spend a considerable amount of time with her in order to truly understand her role in depth. About three days before Kristina took her leave, travAlliancemedia hosted a meeting and invited Kristina to stay on as a consultant for several more months until they could really grasp how to take over. And that’s when Kristina Hernandez began her consulting career.
Over the years, Kristina had executed many out-of-the-box projects within events, entertainment, travel. She relished the opportunity to work with some great people, including a three-time Emmy award, winner and a Disney princess voiceover actress.
The more serious side of Kristina’s roles were always technical opportunities. She offers a general passion for automation, technology and operations. So, over the years, she developed a business out of it. It’s certainly been exciting along the way.
